As we progress into another one of the 12 seasons that we have here in the Triangle area, it’s time to look back on the operations and finances of BCTC in the third quarter.

The primary expenses this quarter were associated with event entry fees. As we announced at the winter meeting in February, the Club covers members’ entry fees into USATF events where BCTC participates as a team. Now operating as a non-profit, the Club is proud to continue the tradition started under Bull City Running Company’s direction.
Membership continues to grow, and that helps as it is the primary source of club revenue. We added 22 new members during the third quarter, bringing the count to 149 Bull City Track Club members. The Club hits its 2026 goal of 150 members early this month (at the start of the fourth quarter) .
