Bull City TC overwhelms 2025 Blue Ridge Relay

Four Bull City Track Club teams tackled the iconic 208 mile race from Grayson Highlands, VA, to Asheville, NC, in the 21st edition of the event. Our Grandmasters Men (50+), Masters Men (40+), Open Women, and Open Mixed teams had a blast covering the challenging, beautiful route through the mountains — with the first three teams winning their respective categories.

The Bull City Track Club Ladies team added to their impressive BRR titles with another win in the Open Women’s category. The women placed 12th overall.

Retaining complete ownership of the Men’s Masters category, the Bull City Track Club Masters team added to its consecutive winning streak in the BRR. The men ran 21:46:38 (6:16 per-mile pace), good for 4th in the overall standings.

The club entered a Grandmasters team this year, made up of runners who had “aged out” of the masters team. And the Bull City Track Club Grandmasters used that experience to break the previous Grandmaster Men’s course record by 3 hours, winning the category in 24:23:26 (7:02 pace). That effort placed 9th overall — and ranked 2nd among all Men’s Masters teams in this year’s race.

The club’s Open Mixed team had, without a doubt, the most fun before, during, and after the race. Bull City Party Pace finished 4th out of 184 teams with an overall time of 28:53:29 (8:20 pace).
