BCTC Summer Camp 2026

Bull City Track Club’s Summer Camp is back! This year, the camp is at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, NC (see details and links below). It is BCTC’s signature running retreat and team bonding experience. Expect a great weekend of mountain running, cooler-than-the-Triangle temperatures, and other activities with your fellow campers.
Registration details: The cost is $225 per person, and that includes two nights of lodging, dinner at the YMCA on Friday, dinner in the team lodge on Saturday, breakfasts on both Saturday and Sunday, and other miscellaneous charges.
Your fee does not include lunch on Saturday or Sunday, or any activities that might require additional costs.
Accommodations: BCTC has reserved Barnhardt Lodge at YCMA Blue Ridge (see details on this page). There are 16 bedrooms with an assortment of beds, including double, single and bunks. The lodge is equipped with soap, towels, sheets, blankets, and pillows. The lodge also has a full kitchen and a large common area with a fireplace.
Activities: As a running retreat, there will be running! The program will be arranged by BCTC and tailored to those who register. Details will be sent to campers as the camp dates approach.
While we use the YMCA primarily for their lodging and dining facilities, campers also have access to athletic fields; hoops, tennis, and volleyball courts; hiking trails; disc golf; cornhole; gaga ball; and more.
Sign up now! We need 20 campers committed by May 28 to make this event happen. The club will refund your registration fees if we do not get at least 20 members.
