Garmin Marathon Durham

Garmin Marathon Durham will highlight the bustling area, including some historic landmarks and the college atmosphere of the community. There is urban heritage, rolling hills and trails included in this course design.
Course highlights include:
- All distances will finish on Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium on the Duke University campus, with all the pomp and circumstance of a regular college day
- Start at the historic American Tobacco Campus
- Scenic Watts Street with landmark buildings and well-preserved early 1900s homes
- Runners will jump on the American Tobacco Trail full of culture and history
Awards:
Overall winners of the marathon, half-marathon, 10K and 5K will receive a Forerunner® 970 GPS smartwatch.
All first-place age group winners in the marathon will receive a Forerunner 970.
All first-place age group winners in the half-marathon, 10K and 5K will receive a Forerunner 165.
