DESCRIPTION:Join your BCTC teammates at “America’s Friendliest Marathon.” There are three events on race day\, so a perfect way to enjoy a race weekend: \n\n\n\n\nAllianz Richmond Marathon (26.2 mi): Run through scenic and historic sections of Richmond\, including along and across the beautiful James River. The marathon course is great for first-timers and is a top Boston Qualifier.\n\n\n\nCarMax Half Marathon (13.1 mi): The classic half marathon course covers everything folks love about the full\, and packs it into 13.1 miles.\n\n\n\nCapital One Richmond 8K (~5 mi): This race through downtown Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University lets you experience incredible crowd support. \n\n\n\n\nWhichever race you pick\, you’ll love the energy from enthusiastic spectators lining the course. There’s also the famous Post Race Party next to the river. \n\n\n\nNote: The full marathon and half marathon races are full; check the website for waitlist information.
